CSI At TDC, we believe in working as not only responsible corporate citizens, but passionate members of our community, for we are a proudly Botswana-born business. We strive to always support those around us through strategic partnerships, sponsorships and Corporate Social Investment (CSI). Here are just some of the initiatives we have gotten involved in in this space.

Launch of Gaborone North Constituency Funeral Scheme

TDC donated groceries for the launch of Gaborone North Constituency’s Funeral Scheme on in November 2016. This funeral scheme allows individuals who could not afford the costs of a funerals to be assisted by the scheme. We believe every community memebr ought to have access and opportunity to a basic funeral scheme, and this was our way of supporting such a platform.

Bangwaketse Tribal Administration

TDC donated P5,000.00 towards the inauguration of Bangweketse’s Kgosi, Kebinatshwene I (Nee Kebinatshwene Mosielele), in September 2017 at the Manyana Main Kgotla. This is in line with support for cultiural preservation and community development.

Dinaletsana Development Centre

Dinaletsana Development Centre is a charitable Centre that provides multidisciplinary services for the children with neuro-developmenttal difficulties in our community. The development centre was officially launched on the 11th of March 2010.


TDC made a contribution of P25,000.00 to Dinaletsana Development Centre in 2017.

Now for Them Community Trust

In April 2018, TDC donated a bakkie to the Now for Them Community Trust in efforts to help with transportation to deliver in its programmes and meet their mandates. Now for Them is a community trust aiming to develop programmes that create economic growth, education and conservation of natural resources for communities in need.

The Conservation Coalition Botswana

In July 2019, TDC contributed P20,000.00 in support of the Voices from the Frontline: Communities & Livelihoods in Botswana documentary premiere. The documentary brings awareness to the everyday struggles of rural communities that reside in wildlife areas and experience human and wildlife conflicts. The Conservation Coalition aims to create a multi stakeholder platform providing education  concerning national conversation and management issues in Botswana.

Boitumelo Primary School

In 2020, TDC heeded the call by Boitumelo Primary School for donation of an HP Laserjet printer, toner and ink cartridges, valued at P4,000.00.
